Shawn Mikula (born in Castellon, Spain on February 28, 1976) is a neuroscientist currently residing in northern California with his wife and toy poodle. He is noted for his work in neuroanatomy, neuroinformatics, and theoretical neuroscience. He is currently involved with the BrainMaps Project at the University of California, which involves ultra high resolution brain mapping.
